Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple: by directly experiencing other cultures and working together toward common, positive goals, we transform not only the lives of those in need, but our own. People emerge from our programs with new-found senses of what is possible in their lives, and they gain invaluable perspectives on leadership, social consciousness, and egalitarianism along the way.
Based on our experience, once someone has taken on the challenge of working on one of our international service projects, the idea of creating change in one’s own surroundings– like their homes, schools, and communities– becomes dramatically easier.
